DT Group, Before I found your group, I had been day trading off and on for two years. I’ve closed and opened trading accounts about a half dozen times, vowing to never to trade again, only to start over again a few months later. When I would start day trading afresh, things would go my way for a period of time and I thought I had it all figured out. Then after a while, I would give everything back, plus a little more. I have tried live trading rooms and found them to be lacking. I found the people there to be a group of tight lipped individuals who cared only for themselves and held their trading knowledge close to the vest, as if they were the inventors of the profession. My venture into the virtual trading room arena initially fared no better. I found some traders to be knowledgeable, but unwilling to help the less experienced. Over inflated egos and bellicose prognostications still ruled the day. I desperately needed training but where do you go? Who do you even ask? Then I stumbled upon you and your trading room, The Day Trade Group, and things have never been the same. You took time out of your trading day to talk to me. I sensed a genuine concern about helping people and passing along the knowledge that you have acquired. It has been 3 months and the training is still ongoing. Among the great many benefits of the room, I have to say the environment and community you have created is paramount. Second but no less important, is the work ethic and focus you display. It provides a living example for many I am sure.I've been lucky enough to experience some great times in my cloning days and while they might not know it themselves, fostered the growth of many. It's a tough job sometimes and doesn't always have it's just rewards. To The Day Trade Group, I have to say, I have been to quite a few chat rooms, and I had to pay for what you are giving away for free! Just wanted to say thanks! I have been trading for a couple of years and could not make sense of this game. The only thing I can say I did right was come here and see all the great opportunities that you discover all day in the chat room. I finally took the tutoring, and that was the best thing I ever did for my trading. Your explanations, and examples were very easy to relate to and you gave me a practical method that allows me to be very confident now that I am trading again. Dear Richard: I want you to know that I have being about a year and a half trading in the market everyday, and besides joining an expensive chat room for more than one year, I have read several books, regarding Elliot Waves, Candlesticks, The best ways of Trading, physiological and discipline stuff a complete set of videos and some specialized CD’s. The reality is that after all that, I had no confidence whatsoever and little knowledge in the stock market, and I think, that I could spend 5 more years, reading books, watching videos, studying charts and listening CD’s, and I would never be able to accomplish what I've accomplished in this last 15 days with your tutoring classes. Dear The Day Trade Group, I recently started The Day Trade Group private tutoring program. This was the best thing I ever did. The focus and attention he gives individually is amazing, and the way in which he explains everything is very enlightening. He is a teacher who dedicates himself completely to your education. We will meet once during the middle of the trading day for a brief review of what the day is like and then have a class on technical analysis after 4pm for a solid 2-3 hours regularly. I don't think anyone offers a higher quality education especially for what he charges. He will roll up his sleeves and get down and dirty with you, tell you like it is, and make sure you have a clear understanding before he moves on. Also he is very accessible during the trading day, he won't leave you in the dark if you have questions about specific trades. He will also hold your hand every step of the way, and that is what I needed to get myself back on track. At this point, I can identify what side I should play a stock, what the risk % is, and where I should get out if I'm wrong. My trading plans are now very solid and my confidence is growing. If you truly LISTEN to what he says, you will stack the risk % in your favor, but you have to let go of what you think you already know. And this is just the beginning. I am convinced that the best way to get an education is through a teacher, the trick is finding a good one. This group is not one of these people who is trying to rip people off for useless information, I think he truly wants to teach people how to trade for themselves. Dear Jerry RickD, Just a quick note to express how impressed I am with the initial training you are providing me through your tutoring. I am very happy that I signed on-board with you as my instructor. After reviewing my notes from the first week of training, I realized how many interesting areas of trading we covered. The topics you covered and the hands on "how to" approach you use in your training, puts everything in perspective to a point where I am really starting to understand technical analysis in a way I never did before. Prior to this I had taken many types of training and seminars; which don't really get into the hands on approach of what to look for, why we look for it, and what to do when we recognize a signal, as you so beautifully cover in your classes. Your training is the type of training I have been hoping to find, I am glad I found you. You have a terrific knowledge and a very casual style, you make it fun to learn, even though we are exhausted by the time the market closes I look forward to our after market chats. You have a way of taking the Complex world of trading and reducing it to very basic principles, rules and priorities, all established to reduce our overall "RISK" as a trader. Hey The Day Trade Group, I know I have said it many times, but I just cannot thank you enough for pulling me aside late last September and shaking some sense into me. I started trading full time in Jan 2001. I found The Day Trade Group in April, and was slowly improving, but still losing money. Since last September I have seen a noticeable change in my trading. I am not over trading as often, not jumping in trades without thinking / planning the trade as often, and not loosing focus as often ... the key is the "as often" ... because I still make these mistakes, for I am still learning. Due to these positive changes in my trading, the bleeding has stopped. I am no longer losing money, day after day. Presently I am averaging about $100 to $200 a Month. My goal is ... well, is to continue improving my trading to where I can make a living. If I had to set an amount for the near term, I would say $200 a Day would make me very, very happy. I see people in the room asking you questions over and over, and I know you are inundated with pm's everyday. You make great calls and give so much to so many. I just wanted to say "Thank You!" and to let you know I still believe in the "pay it forward". I want to help out as many people as I can. Jim Shirey I found when I downloaded the pal talk software, this download was free but it still is the best investment I have made in my life. I have an interest in the market like most people in this country. When I went to there some of things I heard sure got my attention: This is a serious matter we are dealing with (our livelihood) and the first thing we do here is to teach you to preserve your capital.
